Lizzie Heather

Lizzie grew up in the landlocked West Midlands, later moving to the north of England and France to study before relocating to Cornwall. Arriving on the Lizard “for the summer”, she promptly fell in love with Cornish life and, several years on, has firmly rooted herself in the county. Never growing tired of the novelty of having the beach on her doorstep, Lizzie is happiest by the sea – be it in it, on it, or next to it – and if she’s not writing, it’s here you can find her most of the time. As well as Cornwall, Lizzie’s favourite place in the UK is the Lake District, which calls to her love of walking, nature and, of course, great pubs. Amongst the rugged fells and sprawling woodland of the Lakes, she finds adventure and serenity in equal measure. Lizzie has written for Cornish and national publications and enjoys combining her passion for writing and travel to share the beauty of the UK with everyone.
