It’s almost impossible to run out of things to do in Sussex. From the rambling landscapes of the South Downs National Park and High Weald National Park (both of which are a haven for walkers) to the county’s fascinating history, fill your days with as much or as little as you like. Historians will love exploring the area’s many castles, which tell tales of famous battles lost and won, while unique landmarks such as Wakehurst Place and The Observatory Science Centre promise glorious gardens to explore.
