Cottages in the North of the Isle of Man
Rugged coastline, sandy beaches, and idyllic glens make up the landscapes of the North of the Isle of Man. The Point of Ayre, the Island’s most northerly location, is well worth a visit for its breathtaking scenery. Here you’ll also find the Ayres Nature Reserve and Discovery Centre, one of the best places to watch wildlife on the Island. Sulby Reservoir, the largest reservoir on the Island and one of the Isle of Man’s Dark Sky Discovery Sites, promises glorious scenery, perfect for a leisurely walk and a picnic by the water by day, and stargazing by night.
Milntown Estate in Ramsey is the Island’s only historic estate, with 15 acres of beautiful gardens and a café serving what is rumoured to be the best cream teas on the Island! Also in Ramsey, you can discover the fascinating history of the Gibb family at the Grove Museum or delve into the Island’s motor racing history at the Isle of Man Motor Museum. Venture to Curraghs Wildlife Park for a family-friendly day out, where you can see the 350-plus inhabitants, make the most of the play area, and explore the trails around the park.
