Elizabeth Dale

Based in Falmouth, Cornwall, Elizabeth grew up on a farm where her family has lived for five generations. She loves Cornwall’s incredible landscapes and its irrepressible wildness, but most of all, its varied history. It’s everywhere you look, from prehistoric monuments to Tudor castles and ruined mine stacks. With a degree in Journalism and Creative Writing, Elizabeth combines her passion for Cornish history and writing experience to create guides on Cornwall’s rich heritage, and other areas of the UK. She also enjoys photography (and owns a 1920s Box Brownie camera which is a lot of fun!) and making cyanotype prints when the sun shines! When escapism calls, Elizabeth heads to Bodmin Moor, as it’s such a beautiful, peaceful and inspiring place. The number one place in the UK she would love to visit is the Orkney Islands in Scotland and the Ring of Brodgar stone circle.
