Our family ethos
Tony and Clare Tregoning started the business back in 1977 and their dedication to quality and excellence is at the heart of everything we do. Tony is sadly no longer with us, but we still adhere to their original ethos of finding holiday homes we would like to stay in and have slowly grown the company to find the best picks of properties across the counties. Plus Clare still drops in to keep us on our toes.
As an independent, family-run company, we wouldn’t expect you to stay anywhere we wouldn’t want to stay ourselves. And we’re pretty picky. We want you to walk into your handpicked holiday home and say ‘wow’, sit back and relax.
All that walking means you have to bring the extra member of the family, as it wouldn't be a family Christmas break with dogs left behind.
Book your Christmas holiday accommodation as soon as you can to make sure you get the perfect place for your loved ones to gather together for love and laughter, and maybe even a hot tub. Head to north Devon and gaze out of your Christmas cottage window over the vast sandy expanses of beach at Woolacombe, Saunton and Westward Ho!. Perhaps even brave a Boxing Day swim, or more importantly, surf. Walk off the feast by exploring the pretty little coastal towns such as Lynton and Lynmouth.
Travel south to the quieter side of the county, with the South Hams covering everything below Dartmoor - pick out little pockets along the coast to find last minute little stocking fillers in places such as Salcombe and Start Point on the English channel. But there's also the city of Plymouth if you need to do a big shop and tuck into Christmas treats from market stalls along the way.
