Bedroom 1 is super cosy, perfect for a restful night's sleep.
The family bathroom is situated on the same landing area as the bedrooms.
Bedroom 2 is lovely and spacious. Please note, blinds have since been fitted in both bedrooms.

The entrance hall is a great space for leaving coats, boots and bags. There is also a shower-room just off the entrance hall.

The wood-burner is a real bonus in the winter months.

Standing above the hatch, looking down to the main entrance really takes you back in time. Please take care when navigating around the hatch due to the raised wooden casing.
The oldest parts of the mill have been beautifully and carefully preserved for further enjoyment years after they ceased to operate. Please explore with care and consideration.

This beautiful mill is steeped in history, as is its special location. Nestled in the beautiful Dartmoor village of North Bovey, and neighbouring Bovey Castle, this charming semi-detached cottage makes the perfect retreat for those looking to enjoy a wholesome Dartmoor adventure. The walks, trails, and local 'must sees' are endless. Donning your walking boots, leashing up the dogs, and heading out in any direction you choose will treat you to all the delights of this glorious Dartmoor setting.
Not only are you surrounded by endless countryside in this chocolate box Dartmoor village, on your doorstep you have magnificent Bovey Castle, whilst just a short walk away you will find the historic and very popular 15th Century pub, Ring of Bells Inn. Whether it be treating yourself to a cream tea at the castle, or a touch of home-cooked, locally-sourced food and a traditional real ale at the Ring of Bells, you will be spoilt for choice.
Back at New Mill, on entering this delightful retreat, you will be instantly wowed by the magnificent cogs and waterwheel mechanics which greet you in the main entrance hall. Due to the age of the watermill cogs and mechanics which surround them, please take care when enjoying and investigating these areas. There are some low beams so please mind your head. The garden is set over three tiers, with a small flight of steps linking each one. *A cot is not provided, bring your own travel cot.
