If you are planning your next short break and fancy somewhere where you can surround yourself with rural bliss, then Yorkshire's the place for you. With pretty coastal towns, historical cities and the endless amount of countryside to explore, a few days in Yorkshire will feel like a proper escape. A short break is enough time to throw on your walking boots and stomp in one of the national parks. Alternatively, head to the coast for a day and get your fix of fish and chips! If you'd rather a trip into the area's history, why not see the impressive Castle Howard or check out Whitby Abbey, on the East Coast of Yorkshire? You also have the fabulous York, a perfect city to visit for a little shopping and good eateries.
