TwinNestled into the side of the valley, with superb views across Woolacombe Bay and the Atlantic Ocean towards Lundy Island, semi-detached Long Beach House is a fabulous holiday home with beautiful interiors and a wonderful garden and patio.
From the moment you arrive in Woolacombe you will be enchanted with this little piece of heaven in north Devon. Long Beach House is in a magical setting above the village with views of the ocean, golden sands and dramatic coastline. This luxurious home has been lovingly furnished, and this is evident in the gorgeous sitting-room with dual-aspect windows and pastel shades to match the seaside location. There are two comfy sofas and, if you can tear your eyes away from the view, a Smart TV with Apple TV for entertainment.
Through an archway from the sitting-room, a spacious kitchen/diner awaits. The kitchen at the rear of the room has everything you'll need to cook a holiday meal including a Ninja multi-function air fryer and Ooni 16" pizza oven, and a handy dishwasher to assist with the washing up. A separate utility-room is home to a washing machine and tumble-drier. The dining-area has a large table and chairs so guests can sit and chat with the chef whilst dinner is being prepared. There is a handy cloakroom on this floor.
Long Beach House has three stylish bedrooms on the first floor, two doubles and a twin-bedded room. Bedroom one has stunning views from the window so you can enjoy your morning coffee taking it in from the perfectly positioned double bed. This room also has a handy en suite shower-room and mezzanine area. The owners have cleverly used surfboard wall art in both the double rooms. Bedroom two has a king-size double bed and an en suite shower-room. Bedroom three is a twin, ideal for either children or adults.
The garden and sun terrace are accessed from the house, where you can spend blissful days taking in the panoramic views across this wonderful area of National Landscapes. From your first morning coffee as the sun rises, to al fresco dining in the sunshine and watching the sun set with an aperitif on the patio, the views here are unsurpassed. You will also find a handy surfboard rack, wetsuit rails, sun loungers, a barbecue and fire-pit; everything has been thought to make your stay enjoyable.
With the golden sands of Woolacombe's award-winning beach a five minute walk away, and the centre of the village a short stroll, you will find everything you need for the perfect holiday at Long Beach House.
Woolacombe is a great base for a holiday in north Devon, whether you are looking for activities and adventures, or just to escape the everyday. Wander down to the beach where you will find three glorious miles of golden sand, space for everyone even in summer! Play beach games, surf, body board or build sandcastles, you choose! There are plenty of eateries nearby for refreshments and ice creams or take a picnic, the quintessential holiday pastime. A short walk away, the village has a plethora of surf shops where you can book lessons and purchase equipment, cafes and restaurants - ideal if the chef wants a night off.
The scenic coast path runs in either direction, a wonderful way to discover the area on foot and a great way to explore secret coves and inlets along the dramatic coastline. If you have golfers in the party there are several fabulous courses including Saunton Golf Club, reputed to be one of the best in the country and boasting two championship courses, and closer to home the Mortehoe and Woolacombe Golf Club where you will find an exceptional nine-hole course with wonderful views.
