Originally a traditional stone-built village home, the property has been thoughtfully extended and carefully reimagined, with its original character sitting comfortably alongside elegantly selected and bespoke curated aesthetic. The architecture is a fantastic example of Cornish mastery, from the lovely arched windows on the staircase to the light-filled spaces created by well-placed roof windows, including a Velux in the principal bedroom.

There is a quiet sense of craftsmanship both inside and out, with old and new brought together in a way that feels natural, calm and deeply welcoming. Inside, the interiors are soft, warm and beautifully finished. Bespoke curtains, gorgeous soft furnishings, natural linens and a gentle neutral palette create a restful, understated yet elevated feel.

The kitchen is a stunning balance of wood, texture and thoughtful detail, with a carefully chosen collection of utensils and practical pieces that make the house feel both stylish and easy to use. There is also a practical utility-room with a washing machine.

The dining space is large enough for all guests to gather comfortably, with large double doors opening out onto the patio dining area and the gorgeous velvet lawn.

The sitting-room has a large wood-burner and comfortable seating for the whole party. There are books and games available, as well as a Smart TV, and an antique piano for the musicians in the family.

Sleeping up to seven guests, (with a pull-out trundle for an eighth if required), the cottage has four comfortable bedrooms. There is a twin room on the ground floor, boasting the bespoke furnishings featured throughout. Upstairs, you will find a king bedroom with a double aspect window, a large principal with an en suite and further along the corridor, a comfortable single adorned with an archway window. The single room also has a pull-out trundle bed, offering a little extra flexibility for families. The bedrooms are all well-proportioned, softly dressed, making them calm and comfortable places to retreat to at the end of the day.
