Set in the peaceful hamlet of Trevoole, ideally situated for exploring both the north and south Cornish coasts, the ever so charming Primrose Cottage awaits you. This absolutely delightful semi-detached cottage has four bedrooms, lots of outside space and plenty of parking.
The light and spacious kitchen is designed in a classic farmhouse style, complete with a terracotta quarry tiled floor, Rayburn, traditional Belfast sink, compostable pod coffee machine and of course a rangemaster cooker. Perfect for cosy intimate suppers there is a large antique pine table and comfortable seating for eight. Three reclaimed brick steps take you up to the very pleasant sitting-room where you can snuggle up on one of the vintage sofas and catch a film or curl up in front of the toasty wood-burner with your favourite book. Adjoining this room, you will find both a double bedroom complete with an en suite bathroom, and a useful compact utility-room with washing machine.
Upstairs there is reclaimed oak flooring throughout. The master bedroom has an en suite and the two further bedrooms are styled beautifully in floral fabrics and have thoughtful little touches wherever you look. We mustn't forget the bright family bathroom, which is also located on this floor.
Please note, additional photos of the exterior of the property will be available soon.
Outside there is plenty of space to play, soak up the sun or just sit quietly and plan the days ahead. Decked steps take you up to a lawn and garden area which has a table and chairs and is perfect for al fresco meals. Leading out from the sitting-room there is a charismatic cobbled courtyard which is an exquisite little spot for a morning coffee listening to the birdsong.
Your four-legged friend will be made to feel very welcome here and will love exploring the coastal paths which are quite literally on your doorstep! The footpath from Trevoole leads to a moorland which adjoins the Pendarves nature reserve, so don't forget your walking boots. Travelling south, the food mecca hot spot Porthleven is only seven miles away and fast becoming a go to destination with an attractive harbour and many good restaurants including Rick Stein's, amongst others. Getting to the wider north Cornwall area is simple too with St Ives, Gwithian and St Agnes all in easy reach.
A ten minute drive away you will find Tehidy Country Park, a great spot for walkers and cyclists alike; why not pack a picnic and enjoy an afternoon exploring the park, feeding the ducks and watching the squirrels. There is also a cafe in the park serving delicious treats, a suitable reward after all that exercise! Meanwhile golfers can enjoy a round at nearby Tehidy Park Golf Club, the club warmly welcomes visitors and the course is great for all abilities.
After a busy day exploring both coasts you can return and experience country living at its very best! Primrose Cottage truly is the perfect choice for an unforgettable family holiday in Cornwall.
