All of our cottages provide bed linen and towels as standard, with a change of bedding included for holidays of two weeks or more. You’ll also find a fresh change of towels for each week (for in the house only, please bring your own for the beach) and tea towels a-plenty.
The beds will be readymade and waiting for you on arrival so you can simply sink into comfort and relax straight into your holiday.
The ancient landscape and special quality of light of the Penwith peninsula have inspired artists and storytellers for hundreds of years. Today, St Ives is still a Mecca for artists, the pristine sands at Sennen are a favourite hang out for surfers, while the fairytale St Michael's Mount castle at Penzance is a reminder of the far west's rich heritage of myth and legend.
Several unique headlands such as Clodgy Point, Porthcurno with the Minack Theatre and Land’s End, form the west Cornwall coastline that stretches around to Mount’s Bay, home to St Michael’s Mount. They bound the geography of lush greenness that is the Penwith peninsula. Accommodation varies like the topography, with tiny fisherman’s cottages around the harbour at Mousehole, town houses with sea views in Penzance and rural retreats around Cape Cornwall.
The west Cornwall has a history of artistic integrity, the origins of its international renown based in the schools of art founded around Newlyn and St Ives.
