A gorgeous contemporary apartment nestled on the north coast of Devon, 3 Ocean Point is a fantastic seaside escape for families and couples alike, and just a short stroll from the beach at Woolacombe.

Set in the heart of the seaside village this airy, modern apartment is ideally located for exploring the beautiful coastline of north Devon, within just a few minutes' stroll from the award-winning beach and local amenities. With airy open plan living spaces, two peaceful bedrooms, patio garden and large balcony, it's an ideal holiday home whether you're a couple looking for a romantic break or a family in need of a comfortable base from which to explore.

Step through the door and turn immediately right into the living space. Here, you'll find the dining-area with table and chairs. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out to the rear courtyard and let in lots of light. Next up the kitchen, fully equipped with everything on hand to make your culinary creations, there's an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble-drier and all the other essentials, plus a breakfast-bar for on-the-go snacks or for watching the chef at work. Finally, the sitting-area lies at the far end of the space with a comfy sofa, armchair, Smart TV and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, leading out to the front terrace.

Take the stairs up to the first floor, where on the left you'll find the main bedroom complete with king-size bed. There's also an en suite shower-room with WC and sink, and full-length glass windows and door, leading out to a sun-soaked balcony to call your own. Across the landing lies a quiet twin room, ideal for little ones. In between the two bedrooms you'll find the family bathroom and downstairs, there's a handy WC opposite the kitchen-area.

For when you just want a relaxing day at home, there's a sunny terrace, found through the glass door in the sitting-area, where you'll find a table and chairs for al fresco meals and a corner sofa for sprawling and sunbathing. By the gated entrance there's storage for wellies and walking boots as well as beach paraphernalia, and a handy bench. Leading off from the principal bedroom is a gorgeous balcony with seating and sea views - the perfect spot for a wake-me-up coffee or pre-dinner drinks before going out. As well as this, there's an underground parking space for one car, plus a communal outdoor shower for washing sandy feet and wetsuits after a day's adventures on the beach. Access to the apartment is by stairs or lift, and a communal storeroom can be used for storing surfboards, bikes and wetsuits should you have brought them with you.

From 3 Ocean Point it's a three minute stroll down to the beach and into the centre of the village, so you couldn't ask for a better base for your holiday! Award-winning Woolacombe beach is often declared as one of the best in Britain, with three miles of golden sands backed by rolling dunes and with lovely views of Lundy Island out to sea. Woolacombe's Blue Flag status and lifeguards means the beach is perfect for families who enjoy swimming, while oodles of space means beach games are a must too.

Active types can try their hands at surfing, bodyboarding and sea kayaking, while those who prefer to stay ashore can join the coastal path and walk over the headlands of Baggy Point and Morte Point, located either side of the town. Alternatively, take part in the Woolacombe Wildlife Trail that's perfect for animal-loving families, and the nearby, hidden beach of Barricane (a Site of Special Scientific Interest) is a must as well for a spot of rock pooling. A wander around the town will lead you to the many places to eat, from traditional pubs to pastel-coloured ice cream parlours, and independent shops to explore.
