Welcome to 5 Ocean Point! Just a hop, skip and a jump from the golden sands of Woolacombe beach, this modern apartment for four is perfect for couples and families alike and comes complete with a terrace for al fresco eating.

A fantastic pad from which to explore the stunning north Devonshire coast, you'll find this pet-free holiday home a bright, airy and oh-so-comfy place to stay with open plan living area, two bedrooms, a family bathroom and a fabulous outdoor space that's made for long leisurely lunches. Its easy access to the centre of Woolacombe means you don't have to step into a car for fun things to do, so your vehicle can rest safely in the secure underground carpark while you're pottering about.

On entry into 5 Ocean Point, you're met with a modern, sleek open plan living space made for coming together and spending quality time with each other, away from the busyness of everyday life. First up is the compact kitchen, sleek in design and with everything you'll need to rustle up meals for you and your loved ones, including an oven and hob, built-in dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and a good selection of kitchen essentials for the keen cook. Why not try your hand creating delicious dishes from locally-sourced, super fresh fish and seafood - yum! Next up, there's a chic glass table that seats four, great for bustling breakfasts and for planning your adventures for the day ahead, or a romantic supper if there's just the two of you. Towards the back of the room there's plenty of seating on the comfy sofa for up to six people (so plenty of room to sprawl), while there's a Smart TV for quiet evenings in, whether that's watching an old favourite film or catching up on that must-watch box set. The back wall, comprising of floor-to-ceiling glass doors, open out onto the terrace, meaning a gentle sea breeze can float in on warmer days.

Take a trip upstairs to find the bedrooms where you'll discover the principal bedroom with double bed, en suite shower-room, Smart TV, blue velvet sofa to lounge on, built-in mirrored wardrobe and full-length glass windows, reaching from floor to ceiling. Across the landing is a delightful twin bedroom, perfect for little ones, with charming nautical characters on the wall, a built-in mirrored wardrobe and floor-to-ceiling windows. You'll find the WC downstairs.

For warmer days there's a terrace to the back, accessed through the sitting-area, where you'll find a table and chairs for outside dining, morning coffees and early evening sundowners. In addition, there's an underground dedicated parking space for one car, plus a communal outdoor shower for washing sandy toes and wetsuits after a day on the beach. Access to the apartment is by stairs or lift, and there's a communal storeroom should you bring surfboards, bikes and wetsuits with you.

It's just a three minute amble down to the beach and into the centre of Woolacombe, so you couldn't be more central! Often voted as the best beach in Britain, the award-winning shoreline of Woolacombe is idyllic, with golden sands stretching over three miles with views of Lundy Island out to sea and backed by undulating dunes. With its Blue Flag status, it's perfect for swimming and lazy days on the beach, or why not take to the waters and try your hand at surfing, bodyboarding or sea kayaking? If you're more of a land lubber, join the coastal path and explore the headlands of Baggy Point and Morte Point, which flank either side of the town. Alternatively, you might like to discover your inner cowboy at Woolacombe Riding Stables or have a potter around the town and treat yourself to a bite to eat in one of the many foodie places, from local pubs and cafes to stylish restaurants and ice cream parlours.

Although there is lift access to the apartment, the bedrooms are on the first floor. The blinds in the bedrooms are not black out blinds and therefore some light does filter through (it's not possible to install curtains due to planning restrictions). The apartment is accessed from the car park via stairs or lift, for guidance a LWB VW Transporter (minus roof racks) can access this area. *A cot is not provided, bring your own travel cot.
