Located in the large private grounds of the Glendorgal Hotel which boasts fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean, you will discover 2 Glendorgal. Nestled in a quiet cul de sac this reverse level, mid terraced house offers you cosy and comfortable accommodation for up to seven guests (an extra child can be accommodated on a fold out bed in Bedroom 2).
On the first floor of this surprisingly spacious house is the light and airy open plan living area which is subtly furnished in soft greys and yellows. The dining-area has direct access to a private balcony where you can sit in the sun with your morning coffee and admire the view. The kitchen is compact, however equipped to a good standard, with all you may need to cook up something rather special.
Take the stairs down to the ground floor; here you will find three double bedrooms and family bathroom. Bedroom 1 (which also has a fabulous en suite shower-room) and Bedroom 2 both have patio doors leading onto an enclosed decked garden, where the family can all gather together to enjoy an al fresco dinner.
2 Glendorgal directly overlooks the gorgeous sheltered Porth Beach, and is within walking distance of Whipsiderry Bay, Tolcarne and Great Western beaches, as well of course Newquay's famous surfing beach, Fistral. A short drive or longer coastal path walk takes you to the beautiful Watergate Bay and the Jamie Oliver inspired Fifteen Restaurant.
Further along the rugged north coast is the traditional Cornish fishing village of Padstow with its picturesque harbour and exquisite Rick Stein's seafood restaurant, which is well worth booking in advance as it gets extremely popular, especially in the summer months.
