Take a daytrip to Newquay, offering a wonderful choice of shops, places to eat and drink, and stacks of visitor attractions. Head for Trenance Gardens and Leisure Park, home to Newquay Zoo and enjoy close encounters with big cats, penguins and creepy crawlies. This beautiful green space is also a lovely place for evening strolls, family picnics, boat rides and refreshments at the lakeside cafe.
Although close to bustling Newquay with its surfing vibe and fabulous beaches, you are also as close to charming Crantock which feels like a different Cornwall, a reminder of when times were lived at a slower pace.
