Steeped in history yet effortlessly elegant, this sophisticated farmhouse, located near the popular harbourside village of Porthleven, is a truly special place dating back to 1790. This beautiful homestay is a former mine manager’s house and has been lovingly restored with an impeccable eye for detail, combining period charm with contemporary luxury and eco-conscious design.

Be welcomed inside through the spacious entrance comprising a hallway with plenty of room for boots and coats and a very useful cloakroom. Every corner of Tregunno Farmhouse has been beautifully curated, blending timeless craftsmanship with modern style and practicalities.

The bespoke kitchen is the gorgeous centrepiece of the home, bathed in light from the Velux windows and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for family feasts and relaxed holiday living. Off the kitchen, you’ll find a handy utility-room, while the sitting/dining-rooms offer a stunning mix of old and new: exposed beams, rich textures and elegant furnishings evoking heritage charm with modern luxury. A wood-burner creates a warm glow on cooler evenings, perfect for gathering after a day by the sea.

Just off the sitting-room lies bedroom one on the ground floor, a serene and stylish space complete with its own working wood-burner, which is a real treat on cooler evenings after trekking the coastal path. An oak staircase leads to the first floor, where you’ll find three further bedrooms, each unique and beautifully designed. The principal bedroom features a romantic four-poster bed and sash windows framing glimpses of the sea. The bunk room is perfect for children, while the double has been cleverly designed with the bed tucked into a cosy alcove for a true hideaway feel. The family bathroom is pure indulgence, with a free-standing bath, separate shower and elegant fittings. The large landing window boasts stunning views over the neighbouring farmland.

Outside, the farmhouse continues to delight. A sunny terrace offers space to dine and unwind, shaded by mature trees, while the lawn beyond is ideal for family games or lazy afternoons in the sun. Tucked away in a private corner of the garden, you’ll find another seating-area, curated for lounging around a toasty chiminea. There is also a wood-fired hot tub, perfectly positioned for evening soaks with tranquil sea glimpses, enjoy long lazy days here or savour it for the end of the day, post explorations!
