We’ve been raising the standards of self catering holidays since 1977.
Our family ethos
Tony and Clare Tregoning started the business back in 1977 and their dedication to quality and excellence is at the heart of everything we do. Tony is sadly no longer with us, but we still adhere to their original ethos of finding holiday homes we would like to stay in and have slowly grown the company to find the best picks of properties across the counties. Plus Clare still drops in to keep us on our toes.
As an independent, family-run company, we wouldn’t expect you to stay anywhere we wouldn’t want to stay ourselves. And we’re pretty picky. We want you to walk into your handpicked holiday home and say ‘wow’, sit back and relax.
Whether you are escaping for the first time with your newborn or holidaying with the whole tribe, it is great to have your own space and to be able to do things when you want. And family holidays on the Isle of Wight are full of exciting journeys and destinations, with ferry trips (or hovercraft!), days out, beaches and child-friendly attractions. The island has everything you could want or need for time away with family of all ages.
If you're an active family, this little landmass is surrounded by water so watersports abound. If you're all landlubbers and the ferry ride was more than enough floating, island walks are popular and there are plenty of planned routes to help you explore and discover the views.
Being surrounded by sea, fresh fish will be on the menu in many a restaurant and there are plenty to choose from that welcome little ones. There are play parks, theme parks and plenty of places to run around or just sit and picnic so you can have the best family holiday.
We've got 89 holiday cottages that welcome children on the Isle of Wight.
