Our family ethos
Tony and Clare Tregoning started the business back in 1977 and their dedication to quality and excellence is at the heart of everything we do. Tony is sadly no longer with us, but we still adhere to their original ethos of finding holiday homes we would like to stay in and have slowly grown the company to find the best picks of properties across the counties. Plus Clare still drops in to keep us on our toes.
As an independent, family-run company, we wouldn’t expect you to stay anywhere we wouldn’t want to stay ourselves. And we’re pretty picky. We want you to walk into your handpicked holiday home and say ‘wow’, sit back and relax.
There is a restaurant and bar on site but being around three miles from East Cowes and Cowes across the river, there’s plenty of places to eat and drink. Island harbour is a wonderfully central location on the Isle of Wight, you can get to most popular locations in around half an hour from here. Perfect if you’re planning on getting out and about to see as much of the island as possible.
Island Harbour is just north of Newport, the main town on the island and a place to find everything you might need whilst staying here. To the east you’ll find the pretty town of Ryde where you can catch the ferry or Catamaran to Portsmouth and visit the mainland for the day or hop on the steam railway and see East Wight from a totally different perspective.
