Grittleton is a picturesque Wiltshire village situated on the edge of the Cotswolds and is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Both ancient and unspoiled, the Grittleton Estate was formally owned by the Neeld family with one of the most notable buildings in the village being Grittleton House. Formerly an independent school, then a family home, it is now a wedding and event venue.

The village has a history dating for many centuries and lies near to the Fosse Way, Roman road and boasts an excellent village pub, The Neeld Arms - this 17th Century country inn boasts roaring log fires in the winter and has areas to eat outside in the Summer.
