Inside is modern and fresh, with light and airy accommodation throughout. The kitchen has all the mod-cons you need to make some memorable meals to share together. With a breakfast-bar and sofa seating you can keep the chef company whilst they cook up a storm. Doors open up into the garden. The sitting-room has comfy seating for all and is at the heart of this space - with doors to both the dining conservatory and games-room.
The stairs lead to all the bedrooms; bedroom one (with en suite shower-room) has flexible sleeping, with a super-king bed and two full sized single pull-out beds. The super-king bed can also be set up as twins, giving this room huge flexibility - it can be configured as a luxury couple's room, a two adults and two children family room or a quad room for children, teenagers or friends. This room has views across to the surrounding fields. With views of the front garden and the fields beyond, bedroom two has a comfy king-size bed. The main bathroom with feature wall tiles, is modern and fresh. The garden is great for children, offering space to let off steam. From the garden gate you can walk for miles, so perfect for those looking to explore. Close by is the historic village of Avebury, with its Neolithic henge and prehistoric stone circle. Cherhill White Horse, Oldbury Castle Hillfort and the Lansdowne Monument are within walking distance - you can spot the Lansdowne Monument from some of the rooms in the house. To reward yourself at the end of a lovely walk, just a mile down a picturesque footpath is the White Horse Inn in Compton Bassett or a slightly longer 1.8 mile walk into the neighbouring village of Cherhill is The Black Horse Pub, both are great places for a pit stop for a pint or a pub lunch on your way back home.
