The Dovecote

The Dovecote was a delightful place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly owners who have put a lot of thought into making this a very comfortable and relaxing place to be. The fresh flowers and provisions for breakfast were a lovely touch. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location and the outdoor seating area was good to relax in at the end of the day, with easy private parking. The Dovecote is in an excellent location for exploring this beautiful part of the Cotswolds....

We had a fantastic stay at the Dovecote, hosted by Michelle and Mark. They were so friendly and gracious, with suggestions for places to visit. The Dovecote with its idyllic patio is a perfect, quiet retreat, near enough to popular areas to visit whilst retaining its local charm and character. Lovely location, good parking. Very warm welcome from owners and a nice welcome pack. Comfy property with lovely outdoor seating area in the garden. Nice local pub with good food.

We loved our stay at the Dovecote in every way - the beauty of the building in its lovely garden setting, the driveway in made it so private and secluded, and having a space to park the car so close to the entry was delightful. We loved the Dovecote's location at Grittleton, so easy to access the M4 and all the beautiful places to visit nearby. And lastly, we so appreciated the loveliness and generosity of the owners Mark and Michele. Our beautiful stay at the Dovecote is etched into our hearts forever!...

This is a delightful property in a very peaceful setting. The property owners, Michelle and Mark, were very welcoming and the location was perfect for visiting places like Bath (use the park and ride), Lacock, Castle Combe, Corsham and Rodmarton Manor. It is highly recommended....
