For those seeking a very special country retreat that's oh-so-close to the crystal clear waters and sheltered beaches of Cornwall's south coast, then look no further than Southleigh House. Nestled at the end of a country lane with peace and tranquility in abundance, this much loved home is packed full of charm and character and has many wonderful features. With a large garden, two toasty wood-burners, plenty of space for relaxing and entertaining, dog friendly and within walking distance of the world renowned Eden Project, this is a very special place where cherished holiday memories will be created and once here, we are sure you won't want to leave.

Start your day with holiday breakfasts served up in the country-style kitchen/dining-room, overlooking the garden. Complete with walk-in pantry and a beautiful Aga (an electric cooker is also provided) it is the epitome of country living and on warmer days you may prefer to take a leisurely breakfast on the terrace, soaking up the morning sunshine, watching the bird and wildlife come and go; it might delay your plans for the day but hey, chill out, you are on holiday. The conservatory takes pride of place at the front of the house, a fabulous room that really brings the outside in, with a large dining-table and snuggly sofas surrounding that all-important wood-burner and if you want some quiet time, why not curl up with a good book in the sitting-room, there's quite a selection on offer.

There are four lovely bedrooms to choose from, all decorated with a romantic feel and beds dressed in luscious linens and charming bedspreads to ensure a blissful night's sleep.

The garden is an absolute joy and has lots of space for you all to spread out. You are sure to while away many an hour on the sunny terrace, have adventures in the wooded area, enjoy ball games on the lawn, pick fresh vegetables for your dinner from the vegetable patch or take an evening sundowner up to the viewing platform and take in the panoramic views over the open countryside out to the blue waters of St Austell Bay in one direction and glimpses of the biomes at The Eden Project in the other, it's quite a spot!

The Eden Project is on the doorstep, with giant biomes packed full of plants from around the world, children's play areas, zip wires and events throughout the year it makes for a great day out.
