This is our second time at Southleigh House and we have already thought about returning. It is so comfortable, with plenty of peace and quiet to read a book, or get outside and play badminton. We had 3 BBQs over a week, as it was so easy to use. The owners Robin and Sarah are very generous hosts, always a phone call away if needed....

The property and it's owners welcomed us and created a sense of homely luxury from the start. For nature lovers this place ticks every box and it would be very easy to spend many days without venturing beyond the property and the gardens !

This was our 3rd family visit to this property which continues to exceed our expectations. The Owners go above and beyond to enhance our stay with every little detail making it more memorable. The Cornish scones & cream on arrival, wood & matches for the log burners and the toys (inc outdoor football goal) so appreciated by all. The unexpected Halloween trail was a wonderful gesture too. Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet location. Plenty of room for everybody both inside and out. Robin and Sarah are wonderful friendly hosts, and Charlie is always happy to come say hi (especially if the BBQ is fired up) Thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay - we hope to come back....
