The Piggery at John Bulls House is the perfect retreat for couples looking to stay at the foot of South Downs National Park. Situated in a quiet, rural and secluded location it gives easy access to the A23 London to Brighton road making it a great base for touring Sussex and the surrounding counties.

All on one level this once farm building has been lovingly converted to provide contemporary and luxurious accommodation throughout.

As you step through the front door into the open plan oak beamed living area there is a state-of-the-art kitchen with everything you need to rustle up your favourite meals. Enjoy time together around a large dining-table or curl up on one of the sofas whilst you read a book, watch a film or simply take in the views of the garden and pond.

The bedroom is wonderfully spacious with a sofa and king-size double bed that has been dressed in Egyptian linens for that blissful night's sleep and long lie-ins. Adjacent to the bedroom is a fully tiled wet-room complete with a large rainfall shower, perfect for soothing aching muscles after a day's exploring or a wake-up shower in the morning.

Step outside to the garden and take your morning coffee on the patio or fire up the barbecue for al fresco dining before enjoying heavenly moments beneath the stars in the Scandinavian (eco-friendly) wood-fired hot tub.

The Piggery really is the ultimate couples' retreat - the owners have even provided dressing gowns and champagne glasses, to make sure you feel well and truly pampered!

Babes in arms under six months old are welcome at The Piggery at John Bulls House.

If you require additional accommodation, you can book Kenny's Hut (4920) a beautiful shepherd's hut that sleeps two.

For the ultimate pampering experience at The Piggery why not book a beauty treatment? The owner can arrange for a beauty therapist to visit, and guests can book a range of treatments direct including facials, body massages and Indian head massages to name just a few.

The Piggery is made for exploring so don't forget to pack your hiking boots or bicycle and venture out to the South Downs Way, the Downs Link or Devils Dyke. Bikes can also be hired from the owner.
