The Granary is situated beside a working organic farm, a short walk from the picturesque village of Cuckfield on the edge of the High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Once a former farm building, this beautiful barn has been thoughtfully and spaciously designed making it suitable for families, friends and those looking to stay in this beautiful area of West Sussex.

Accessed via a gravelled lane, as you arrive at the barn you will find a gated courtyard with patio, parking and a covered terrace. Large bi-fold doors lead into an open plan living-room which has a cosy sitting-area at the far end and a spacious kitchen/dining area with an additional sofa at the other end. There is also a ground floor WC.

The kitchen is very well-equipped and a great space for entertaining whilst creating your favourite holiday meals. The barn has central heating and WiFi throughout and in the kitchen/dining area there is also a wood-burning stove, perfect for those chilly afternoons and evenings.

Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms. At one end of the barn is the main king-size double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and at the other end is a double bedroom which has an en suite shower-room. Just off the landing is a door leading outside to a large balcony. Get out the barbecue and enjoy al fresco dining whilst taking in the views of the surrounding farmland and views towards the South Downs.

Dogs are very welcome here and you will find some great walks nearby including a footpath right next to the barn. Explore the Sussex Weald and lovely walks on the South Downs.

Cuckfield is centrally located so it makes a great base for visiting attractions in both East and West Sussex. Take a stroll into the village of Cuckfield where you will find a museum, some local shops and several lovely places to eat.

Even though the barn is in a rural location you are only a few miles from the A23 London to Brighton road, making a great base for exploring both the coast as well as the rest of Sussex and surrounding counties.

Other places to explore include Ardingly Reservoir, a favourite with those who enjoy water sports including windsurfing and canoeing. Ardingly is also home to the South of England Showground which has events throughout the year including many antique fairs.
