Situated in the heart of Worthing, just a short walk from the seafront with its long promenade and Victorian pier, this spacious house is perfect for family get-togethers and those looking to explore the hidden treasures of West Sussex, including the nearby South Downs National Park.

There is plenty of room for everyone. On the ground floor you'll find a welcoming hallway which leads to a well-equipped kitchen/diner with all you need to rustle up family favourites. Move to the sitting-room, a bright and comfortable space for everyone to enjoy with double doors that open to a patio and small garden-area. Adjoining the sitting-room is a second sitting-room perfect for the family to spread out and enjoy their own space. There is also a ground floor shower-room and a useful separate cloakroom.

Head upstairs to find the family bathroom and three welcoming bedrooms all dressed in beautiful linens for a restful night's sleep.

Wake up refreshed and ready to explore one of the biggest seaside spots on the south coast. The beach is only an easy 400 yard walk from Austin House and boasts a wide flat promenade perfect for leisurely strolls and cycle rides. Take a visit to the Victorian pier, fun for the whole family, with its amusement arcade and Perch restaurant and bar which enjoys panoramic views.

Explore the many independent and quirky shops and boutique cafes, or visit the weekly market for some local produce and crafts. Catch a show at one of the theatres or visit one of the neighbouring seaside towns, perhaps Climping beach which is long and sandy or Littlehampton with its two beaches, award-winning cafe and riverside promenade. Or explore the bustling city of Brighton, famous for its Royal Pavillion, quirky shops in The Lanes and of course its pier.

For a taste of history visit the cathedral town of Chichester or the beautiful town of Arundel with its magical castle, medieval cathedral and gardens that look out onto the River Arun. There is also the picturesque village of Amberley with its castle and fascinating museum, or visit Petworth House and Deer Park, Fishbourne Roman Palace or the Weald and Downland Living Museum.

For a spot of horticulture there is Highdown Gardens showcasing rare plants from around the world. Or pop on your hiking boots and visit Cissbury Ring, an ancient Iron Age hill fort with views over the South Downs.

With so many things to do, Austin House really is a great base for families and friends looking to have fun any time of year!
