This newly converted and eco-friendly barn is rather unique, the perfect holiday home for those looking for a multi-family getaway in the heart of the Sussex countryside.

Situated on a 120 acre working farm in a peaceful and secluded valley between West Hoathly and Ardingly, you can truly relax, make memories and enjoy the delights this beautiful area has to offer.

This cleverly designed interconnected barn has a huge living area/event space "Pickeridge Hall" with dining-table, modular sofas, table-tennis and enough space should you wish to dance, do yoga, Pilates, meditate or any other activity. Pickeridge Barn is a combination of two barns (North Barn at Pickeridge (5215) and South Barn at Pickeridge (5211). North Barn has an open plan living/dining/sleeping space with a king-size double bed, dining-table, sofa, TV and stairs leading to a mezzanine floor where there are two single beds. This side of the barn is perfect for families or couples. It has access to a shower-room and a fully equipped kitchen.

The south side of the barn South Barn at Pickeridge (5211) has three bedrooms. On the ground floor is a spacious family bedroom featuring a comfortable king-size double bed. There is also a single bed and an en suite bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. This room has double doors that open onto the terrace and garden. There is an open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen and door leading to an enclosed garden, perfect for small children and pets. On the ground floor is an additional shower-room and stairs leading to the first floor where there are two twin rooms both enjoying countryside views.

To the back of Pickeridge Hall there is a very large open plan bedroom/living area featuring a king-size double bed and single bed and an en suite bathroom. The hall also has access to a disabled WC and changing area.

Pickeridge Barn is the perfect holiday home for families and friends wanting to spend quality time together, yet versatile enough if you want to shut the door and have a little me time.

The owners who live nearby can help guests find local chefs should you want a celebration meal or yoga teachers if you would like some wellness activities for your holiday. These can be arranged and booked with the owner.

Outside there is a large patio with table and chairs where all parties can dine together. Above the workshop is a fitness-room shared with the owners. There is a rowing-machine and yoga mats with blocks for general use and the Peloton bike (please bring your own shoes) and weights are available on request (used at own risk). This area is available on a rota basis. You can work out whilst taking in the views over the surrounding farmland.

The barn is within a reasonable distance of the South Downs National Park and close to Ashdown Forest, home of Winnie-the-Pooh Country, Pooh Bridge and The Hundred Acre Wood.

Only a few miles away is the South of England Showground, a popular venue for agricultural events and antiques fairs. Go kayaking and enjoy water sports at Ardingly Reservoir (Ardingly Activity Centre) or Horse Racing at Lingfield Park.

In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (High Weald) the area is a paradise for walkers with a public footpath that runs through the farm which is part of the High Weald Landscape Trail where you can enjoy walks through meadows, ancient woodlands, and bluebell woods. You can also walk to local villages and the local pub, The Cat Inn or the Missing Link Brewery to sample some Sussex Ale.

Although you are tucked away in a rural location, the barn is perfect for exploring Sussex as well as London with direct train connections from Haywards Heath. Sussex is blessed with numerous attractions. Step aboard the Bluebell Railway whilst taking in the views of the Sussex countryside. Visit the Bluebell Vineyard Estates which is an award-winning vineyard and winery on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. Visit Wakehurst, Kew's wild botanic garden and home to the Millennium Seed Bank. Or there is Standen House and Garden, an Arts and Crafts house just south of East Grinstead and the beautiful Nymans Botanical Garden set around a romantic house and ruins. Sheffield Park Gardens, where you will find many rare shrubs and trees and Borde Hill, a beautiful English Heritage Grade II Listed garden set within 200 acres of scenic parkland, are also well worth a visit.

However, you plan to spend your time here in Sussex, Pickeridge Barn will be perfect place for making memories.
