Small doubleWith countryside views and just two hours from London, Cala Lily is a luxury shepherd's hut situated in the beautiful countryside of West Sussex and offers a dreamy escape where you can really unwind and indulge in nature.
Beautiful and handcrafted, it has all you need for a lovely break away. There is a queen-size (4') double bed that cleverly folds away making room for a table and seating-area. The kitchen has all you need to create a culinary feast and includes a small integrated fridge, oven, and hob. There is also under-floor heating so it's perfect for any time of year.
Outside is a unique outdoor dining pod with fire-pit where you can toast marshmallows whilst sitting back and enjoying the countryside views.
Douglas Fir (5290) is a great shepherd's hut that is located round the corner from Cala Lily but neither can be seen from the other. Both huts can be booked together (subject to availability) if you wish to book both for family or friends. Also on site there is the sublime Little Oak Treehouse (5288), another unique retreat for two.
There is plenty to explore with some wonderful walks and cycle routes locally including the South Downs Way, the Literacy Trail, Leith Hill, Chanctonbury Ring, the Downs Link, Pitch Hill and Cissbury Ring. The nearest beach is only 15 minutes away, although West Wittering is 40 minutes away and worth the drive!
Visit Goodwood, Petworth House and Gardens, Knepp Castle Estate which is great for walks and seeing the storks and other wildlife, The Woodland Trust and RSPB Pulborough Brooks nature reserve, Arundel Castle, Parham House and Gardens, Bramber Castle, Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre, Arundel Museum, Chichester, Bosham and The Weald and Downland Museum.
There are also many great pubs and restaurants nearby and the owners will be happy to recommend all to you prior to your arrival.
You are also centrally located between Guildford (40 minutes), Chichester (30 minutes), Brighton (30 minutes), Petworth (30 minutes) and London is only an hour away on the train.
