The Summer House

Designed by architect and famous local artist John Miller in the 1960's, The Summer House is a charming, light-filled single storey property with sea views and situated merely moments from the crystal clear azure waters and gorgeous golden sands of Perranuthoe Beach. With its rock pools and a shoreline that spreads widely at low tide, the waters are perfect for swimming, snorkelling and perhaps some paddleboarding or kayaking for the more adventurous.

Welcoming up to six guests into this seaside retreat in the very heart of the cute village, park up and stroll in through the front door to find a stylish and elegantly modern home full of warmth and appeal. The inviting living and dining room is the star of the show with cosy seating and a wood-burner making it an ideal choice year-round whatever the weather. From the dining area, doors lead directly out into the enclosed garden where a paved terrace with sturdy wooden picnic tables suggests dining in the great outdoors is to be embraced here. There is also a small terrace leading from the kitchen where a morning coffee with a cheeky croissant is positively encouraged.

The three bedrooms are equally as charming as the rest of the home, spacious bedroom 1 has a king-size bed and en suite bathroom and there are two twin-rooms each with 3ft beds for children or adults alike. A family bathroom and separate wet-room complete the accommodation here, all handily on one level for anyone with limited mobility.

The enclosed garden will be a welcome sanctuary after a day on the beach or day out exploring the area, and somewhere you can enjoy special family holiday times together making happy memories.
