The entrance hall leads into the open plan living-room with kitchen and dining areas, with doors leading out to the patio from both the living-room and kitchen. The interior has a Scandinavian feel with wooden floors and stylish furniture giving the space a relaxing and inviting feel. Take time out to read your book with this wonderful backdrop and sea air.
Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor, a double with super-king size bed and a twin bedroom. Prop yourself up in your luxurious double bed whilst the kids serve you morning coffee and look out to sea, a perfect way to start the day’s adventure. There is a bathroom on this floor with a bath and fitted shower, and a separate cloakroom.
The en suite main bedroom is on the second floor, a spectacular, spacious room with large windows and perfectly placed armchairs to savour the panoramic sea view from this vantage point. The luxury en suite has a roll-top bath to enjoy a soak in the peace and quiet of your top floor haven. The owners have furnished Longdown Hall thoughtfully and tastefully throughout, making this a wonderful holiday home.
A ten minute walk takes you down to the sea where you can walk along the water’s edge to Ventnor seafront, which is lined with cafes and restaurants, many specialising in locally-caught seafood. Over recent years Ventnor has become renowned for its wide choice of restaurants serving excellent food from all around the world, you will find your favourite for sure. The beach here is a mixture of red shingle and golden sand with vintage beach huts offering deck chairs and sun loungers for hire.
