This large detached house is situated in an elevated position as you enter the town of Ventnor, with the most breathtaking views from virtually every room.

The beautiful tiered gardens, with large patio-area, are also positioned to make the most of the panoramic views. There are two sitting-rooms to choose from; a family room/snug with a television and a more formal sitting-room that has sliding doors out onto the balcony, where you can enjoy your morning coffee whilst enjoying one of the Island’s best views. The separate dining-room has plenty of room for eight to enjoy mealtimes and a modern kitchen for all your culinary needs.

The four bedrooms are on the first floor, two twins, a double and a king, plus a lovely family bathroom with bath and shower over. St Albans House is a light and spacious beautiful home, a wonderful place to spend a holiday exploring the Isle of Wight. There is parking for two cars at the rear of the house with access through the garden.

Ventnor is on the south coast of the Isle of Wight and is built on steep slopes leading down to the sea, hence a good number of the properties having fantastic sea views. Sheltered by the St Boniface Downs, Ventnor benefits from its own micro climate, ideal for a variety of plant species many of which are only found in the Mediterranean!

The seafront is lined with restaurants and cafes where you can sit, relax and soak up the atmosphere, including Ventnor Haven Fishery selling some of the freshest crab and lobster. Up in the town of Ventnor the choice of places to dine out are some of the best on the Island. Highly recommended is Cantina, a cafe/restaurant/bakery and kitchen open all year around, treat yourself to breakfast and an exceptionally good cup of coffee.

Well worth a visit are Ventnor Botanical Gardens, deemed ‘one of the great gardens of Britain’, there is something here for all the family. There are a host of activities for children, a superb restaurant where all the ingredients are either grown in the garden or locally-sourced, not forgetting the beautiful gardens to wander around and admire. The coastline is well worth exploring on foot, there are many routes to choose from with small bays and seaside cafes to rest at along the way. At St Albans House there is everything you could wish for for the perfect holiday, even the micro climate!
