A great stay at Longdown Hall, despite the weather. Very well equipped and comfortable home. Very spacious, clean and well equipped. A fantastic view from most of the rooms. Walking distance of Ventnor and a short walk to the bus stop.

A beautiful house with the most amazing sea views. We had fantastic weather and enjoyed watching seals, ships and boats from the terrace - a real treat! The house is comfortable, well equipped, with plenty of space to spread out and relax. The beach, shops and plenty of good restaurants are in close walking distance - tapas at the Basque Kitchen is excellent! We’re already planning our next visit!...

I didn't tell my partner where we where going for this holiday and told her to guess on route, she'd never been to the I.O.W but the smiles started as soon as we got on the ferry and only got bigger when we reached Longdown Hall. The idea was to park the car and walk or catch the bus as much as possible and eat out. Longdown Hall is in the perfect position to do just that. We had breakfast outside on the patio, which is quite protected from the wind, every morning with great sea views. The walk to the coastal path is straight down the alley next to the property and within minutes you are on the sea path. We walked to Shanklin and took the bus back which was a great service. Everything else is very close by, So park your car and take a relaxing break at Longdown Hall it was great for us and one of the first places my partner said she'd like to come back too. ...
