Doors lead out to the patio from the living-room bringing the outdoors in.
This stunning patio area has the most incredible sea views. Please take care on the patio as the wall is low and the steps that lead down to the lower garden area are steep and uneven.
The second floor master bedroom with en suite bathroom.

An excellent property

Absolutely stunning property which allowed 3 generations to have the most amazing week together. Stunning bedrooms with 2 having superb views of the sea. Terrace is fabulous and lovely to dine/relax on. Isle of Wight edition of Monopoly, Cluedo, cards and jigsaws made for some brilliant evenings round the table. Would highly recommend trips to Crave for ice cream, Amarcord for Pizza and The Kitchen for lunch in Ventnor. Ventnor beach great for waves and pebbles. Appley beach great for a sandy beach and when the tide is out you can almost paddle to Portsmouth! Trips to Ventnor Botanical Gardens, The Needles, Donkey Sanctuary & Osborne House were wonderful.

Fabulous, comfortable house with stunning views.

Lovely property with all that a family of four needed. The top bedroom suite was a haven for two shattered parents, really peaceful and beautifully designed. The property feels both spacious and homely and you can tell it has been well looked after. Such an interesting building when reading about its history and we really appreciated the features of the building inside.

Classic Cottages were attentive and efficient, easy to book with and communicated very well. I really appreciated being able to speak to a person on the phone rather than just all online, a massive bonus in my opinion.

We re booked this property as we stayed in February and loved it. The two small suggestions we had made were even in place when we returned. It was home from home. So comfortable. It is the last holiday we will be able to do with my dad as he has a terminal condition so we were so pleased to have had such a happy, comfortable and very memorable family holiday. Thank you again

Excellent accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Parking is an issue, however we parked in the free car park at the bottom of the steps so plenty of exercise!

Stunning property with spectacular views. Very homely and beautiful decor

Lovely house, very clean, amazing views, very well equipped great location

Fantastic cottage, beautifully furnished and equipped. The sea views are spectacular. The street parking is ok if you get there before 5 ish. Ventnor is very steep. Lots of good places to eat nearby.

We have stayed here twice and it’s a lovely house, very comfortable and well equipped within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. On a sunny day the patio is fantastic.

Amazing views from most rooms. Lovely spacious house with good furnishings. Bus services are very good so consider getting a week’s bus pass.

Would highly recommend, views amazing, Longdown Hall perfect.. would love to return in the future..

Fabulous house with incredible sea views. Extremely comfortable beds & seating & a wonderful patio. Very well equipped with many thoughtful touches making it a real home. An easy walk to town or the sea and all the eateries of Ventnor. Our fourth visit to the town and we no longer need to search for the perfect place to stay although maybe we shouldn’t be sharing this so we can be sure of finding it available when we return!

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay at this well-equipped cottage. Stunning sea views. Ventnor itself has many amazing restaurants to try and you could eat delicious food at a different one every night. All within approx. a 15-minute walk. We highly recommend this cottage.

We all enjoyed our stay very much, the property was spacious with the most amazing sea views. Very comfortable and warm. Great location, no parking but we always managed to park in the street outside. Easy walk to the shops. A real treat.

Wonderful stay. Would highly recommend except we don’t want others to find out about it!!

Great property and excellent service

We had a lovely week in this very well appointed cottage. The layout was excellent and unlike many places we have stayed at was well equipped with crockery and utensils. Would thoroughly recommend.

Have visited twice and have booked again for next year

A lovely seaside family (older children) house with excellent sea view & central to the town & seafront.

The terrace is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view of the sea.

Beautiful light and peaceful property with quality furnishings and well-equipped kitchen. Lovely patio area overlooking the sea. Wifi was very good. We used the double bedroom rather than the top suite as the sea view was just as good. The twin zipped bed was very comfortable. Ventnor is a quaint seaside town with several good quality restaurants, although table availability whilst Covid restrictions apply was limited (book ahead!!!). There is an excellent fresh fish, lobster & crab hut on the sea front as well as cake shop & general provision shops within 10-15 minutes walk.

The only issue was the scarce parking nearby. Most days we had to use a (free) 24 hour carpark down at sea level – if you have mobility issues please be aware there are several long flights of uneven, very steep, steps to climb to get back to the property. If you are fit then this is the perfect workout!

A very comfortable, warm and welcoming cottage with the most amazing sea views. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace whilst admiring the views across the channel. And the kitchen was very well equipped.

We would highly recommend this property for the views alone!

We had a lovely, sunny break here in September. Such a relaxing spot with great sea views.

Lovely property which is very handy for Ventnor town centre. Parking near the property can be an issue.

A beautiful, spacious home with great views of the sea.
