Primrose Cottage has it's own resident robin who likes to visit. Be sure to say hello, he is very friendly.
What a lovely spot for a morning coffee! The rear courtyard is accessed by the stable door leading out from the sitting-room.
The garden area is lovely and is the perfect spot for a light lunch.
Gwithian beach is a short drive away, and perfect if you enjoy surfing.
Porthleven is close by and has a sweet little harbour to walk around.
Enjoy a day or evening out in Porthleven. Watch the boats bobbing about in the harbour, and then enjoy a lunch or dinner in one of the harbour restaurants.
Praa Sands is perfect for a good walk and to blow away those cobwebs, plus is dog-friendly too from the end of September until Easter.
Tehidy Country Park is a magical place for a visit. There are picnic spots and also a café serving delicious refreshments.

Primrose Cottage is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. It is so well equipped and has everything you need. It’s a great base to explore Cornwall. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday spending time on Gwithian Beach (roughly 15 minutes away), going to St Ives by train from St Erth - a very pretty journey, and exploring the local woods. Fabulous cottage, it has a really friendly and cosy feel perfect for family holidays. We normally stay near the Helford Passage and Falmouth, but Primrose Cottage is ideally located to explore the North West of Cornwall, an area we were not too familiar with. The cottage itself is well equipped and beautifully decorated, we would definitely stay here again, one of the best places we have stayed in Cornwall....

Absolutely loved our stay at Primrose Cottage. We felt relaxed and welcomed as soon as we walked in. We loved the Rayburn and homely feel of the kitchen which contained everything we needed. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated throughout with lots of books and games at our disposal. The heat from the Rayburn meant we didn't get to use the stunning log burner too much, but this, along with the cosiness of the cottage has left us wanting to return for a winter visit. Hope to be be back soon!...

Quirky cottage in an excellent location for the north and south coasts and Cornwall's mining heritage. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and the owner was very helpful when we had a query.
