The Sheep Shed is a delightful bolthole for couples, ideal for those who want to get away from the stresses of everyday life. Lovingly converted by the owners, this former farm building provides a great base for exploring this beautiful area of Cornwall and gives easy access to the beaches and attractions on the north, south and west coasts.

Set on a rural small holding, this cute barn is completely detached, set apart from the owners' farmhouse and is only a short drive from the nearby village of Stithians and an even shorter drive to the local pub. The large open plan living space has patio doors that open onto a private garden with stunning views across the surrounding countryside, where the owners' flock of sheep can sometimes be seen grazing.

The light bedroom and en suite bathroom are up three steps, here you can sit in bed with your morning tea looking out at the views.

If you enjoy the great outdoors, nearby Stithians Lake has a lot to offer the visitor at any time of the year – from fishing to footpaths, wildlife to water sports and the cafe is worth a visit too! Stithians also has a second pub, two village shops, a beautiful church and a wood-fired pizza van that visits every week.

Further afield there is plenty for the keen walker from the South West Coast Path to the inland network of old mining tramways that can take you from north to south. Beautiful beaches, craggy coves, spectacular views and great local produce are all here for the taking when you come and stay.

Babes in arms up to 12 months old are welcome at The Sheep Shed.
