Gilly Barn is the perfect base from which to discover Cornwall’s infinitely diverse and very special magic of the north and south coasts, and everywhere in between.
With wonderful far reaching countryside views, semi-detached Gilly Barn enjoys a secluded, elevated position just outside the little hamlet of Penhalvean, with the farmhouse opposite and Burnfoot (2006) next door the only neighbours.
Beautifully presented with a cobbled terrace, large shared enclosed garden and further outside space to the side of the cottage, there is ample space for children to play or for adults to relax.
With the villages of Stithians and Lanner both only two miles away, it's only a short trip to find a local pub with good food and a friendly welcome.
Gilly Barn's reversed level accommodation is exceedingly spacious, and finished in a warm and homely modern country style.
Galleried steps from the huge dining-room lead down to the roundhouse, now a light and airy sitting-room with two deep sofas and a glass door leading outside. The well-equipped kitchen is also upstairs, and downstairs are the bathroom and three gorgeous bedrooms, and the en suite double with a door to the terrace so you can sit out and enjoy the evening sun.
External steps lead up to Gilly Barn's first floor front entrance and there is a second set of stone steps leading directly from the kitchen to the garden, perfect for popping back to the fridge for a top up when eating al fresco.
