Whether seeking beaches, coves, countryside or Cornish culture, this former barn is the perfect base from which to discover Cornwall's north and south coasts and everything in between. With reversed level accommodation and steps up to the front door, the elegant country interior features a large comfy colourful sofa and solid wood furniture in the first floor sitting/dining-room and beautifully furnished bedrooms.
With wonderful far reaching countryside views, semi-detached Burnfoot enjoys a secluded, elevated position just outside the little hamlet of Penhalvean, with a farmhouse opposite and Gilly Barn (2005) next door the only neighbours.
The kitchen and a shower-room are also upstairs, with the bathroom and three spacious bedrooms on the ground floor, two of which have doors directly onto the garden terrace.
Beautifully presented with a cobbled terrace to the rear where you can sit and admire the views, a shared rear garden and an additional area of garden to the front of the cottage, there is space around the cottage for children to play or for adults to relax after a day out exploring.
When you don't fancy cooking at home, the villages of Stithians and Lanner are both only two miles away, so it's only a short trip from home to find a good local pub with locally-sourced food and a warm and friendly welcome. If you are feeling more active, it's only a short trip across to the lake at Stithians where you will find a wide choice of water based activities or a delightful spot for a walk around the lake before a drink in the pub or cafe.
