TwinWithin a few minutes’ walk of the village centre and located on an unmade road leading to the sea, Dolphin Cottage is a simply stunning house ideally laid out to make space for all the family. Enter through secure gates to the front where there is a lawned area and verandah, an ideal spot for a game of table-tennis or badminton! There is also side access to the rear patio-area from here, perfect for younger ones as the outside area can be a safe place to play.
The house is light and airy throughout with a lovely large, stunning open plan living-room with kitchen and dining-areas and bi-fold doors leading out to the patio-area. A large dining-table means everyone can gather to enjoy leisurely meal times. Comfortable deep corner sofas allow you to relax with a nice glass of wine or sit back and watch a film of your choice as there are additional televisions in the children's snug and the sitting-room.
The patio-area has outdoor sofas and flows directly from the dining-area to extend the living space, and as the sun is always shining on the Isle of Wight you could be positioned here with a good book for a lot of the time! There is a second sitting-room to the front of the house with a door through to the snug, and as well as a television there are lots of games provided for the kids to enjoy. Patio doors lead out from here to the front garden.
All the bedrooms are on the first floor, the main suite is very spacious with an en suite bathroom. The further three bedrooms are twins (one is a 'zip and link' bed and can be made up as a super-king double if preferred), all of which are beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. There is an additional family bathroom on this floor with a bath and shower cubicle.
Situated at the top of Ducie Avenue, a charming leafy road leading to an idyllic beach, Dolphin Cottage couldn’t be better placed for having everything you need within walking distance. Also within just a few minutes’ walk is Bembridge village centre, providing guests with a great choice of local produce to sample including a butcher, bakery, fishmonger and farm shop. There are also several cafes and boutique shops making Bembridge one of the most well serviced villages on the Island and ideal for holiday makers. Bembridge is also home to a good selection of family-friendly pubs including the Pilot Boat Inn on the harbour and the Crab and Lobster with a spectacular outside dining-area with panoramic sea views.
