This stunningly designed contemporary beach house with unobstructed views over Portreath beach is likely to take your breath away. The liberal use of glass floods the living space with light and connects you to the outdoors; think of a boutique hotel, add a state of the art kitchen, a bubbling hot tub and you are presented with the ideal holiday combination.

Luxurious rooms, the most comfortable beds with crisp white linens, fluffy towels and the latest technology work together in complete harmony. Enjoy extraordinary sea views from the comfort of the raised garden terrace whilst sipping a chilled glass or two and when your eyes feel heavy from all the fresh Cornish air, slip under the fresh cotton sheets and sink into a contented slumber ready to do it all again tomorrow.

Rockaway occupies an idyllic coastal position, with sweeping sea views extending out across the sea towards Portreath harbour wall and beyond to Gull Rock. The family-friendly sandy beach at Portreath is popular with sunbathers, sandcastle builders and surfers alike and at certain times of year when there is a big swell at high tide the resort is visited by keen body boarders who come to surf the harbour wall to ride 'The Vortex'.

There are several beach shops, a bakery, cafes and a village pub, all of which cater for most needs of their visitors whilst not being over-commercialised.

For those wanting to be active both on and off the water, why not bring or hire a bicycle as some of the old tram-roads previously used for transporting ore from the mines have been transformed into cycle paths and you can now go from the north coast to the south on wheels or by foot, or stay closer to home and enjoy the sights right on your doorstep.
