Rockaway is a wonderful bolthole - in our case for a special occasion. From the moment we walked in we were swept up in the view and all took it in turns just to STARE out and reflect. We loved the comfort, the spec, the contemporary look and feel, the beds, the view, the walk to the beach being so easy, the body boarding, the view (did I already say that?) and just everything. Highly recommend and worth every penny.

We're so glad that Rockaway offered the perfect place for you all to celebrate, and we can absolutely understand your love of the view - it's pretty spectacular! We're also quite impressed that you were body boarding in November...at least it's a very short walk back to Rockaway to warm up afterwards! We hope to be able to welcome you back again soon. We have vacated in many cottages/houses in Cornwall and Devon and this is by far the best one we have stayed in. The location is perfect with the beach on your doorstep and fabulous views from the house and balcony. The house if very tastefully decorated, comfortable, clean and well equipped. We would certainly recommend it and hope to return again ourselves

Excellent standard of accommodation in a prime location. Having stayed at numerous holiday lets in Portreath this is - the one other providers should be looking to as - a prime example of what the modern holidaymaker wants.

Many many thanks to the owner familiy, we got to know the first weekend we arrived. Such a delightful family....We were introduced into the house personally and they made us a very warm welcome!

There even was some cream tea with scones prepared - very very nice!

We enjoyed it very much in Portreath - will surely come again and we recommend it to our friends ..great great place to be.

We have spent many holidays in Cornwall over the past half a century with a wide range of experiences. Whilst we were very impressed with the property description - and we booked with high expectations - 'Rockaway' was a completely new experience! The house is, literally, beautiful and it is superbly furnished and equipped to the highest standard. The cleanliness was stunning. This holiday really was the most enjoyable and relaxing self-catering holiday ever. It was the first that 'ticked all the boxes' and we have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone! A beautiful house in the most amazing location. A real luxury experience.

This is a reluctant review as Rockaway is the perfect holiday home and we don't want anybody else to find out about it!! The house is literally fabulous and I can't think of any negatives. The view is to die for, as is the decor and comfort. The moment we left, we knew we would be returning. Utterly perfect. Home owner was super-helpful and welcoming. Would have loved to be able to bring the dog, but the house is so pristine, I understand why they don't allow pets
