Part of a small collection of beautifully converted barns, it's a peaceful spot to switch off and unwind. Reversed level accommodation is the order of the day, with calm, cosy interiors that perfectly complement the tranquil surroundings. Open the front door, at the top of the steps, and the sitting-room offers the warmest welcome. With plenty of room for everyone to spread out on lazy afternoons or cosying up on chillier days watching a holiday film, with the warming tones of the electric wood-fired stove adding a gentle glow to the atmosphere. The kitchen/dining- room is the heart of the home, perfect for cooking together, relaxing over leisurely holiday meals and late night chatter around the table. Outside, the sunny courtyard offers a pretty spot for morning coffee, a glass of wine as the evening draws in, or simply sitting beneath the wide, star-filled skies.

When bedtime arrives, it's downstairs to the three restful bedrooms, each one offering a peaceful end to the day, after your adventures along the coast. One room has the comfort of its own en suite shower, while the other two share the family bathroom.

One of the joys of staying here is how close you are to some of Cornwall's most memorable experiences. Just a short walk to the top of the private drive is the entrance to Trevibban Mill Vineyard. What a treat to wander over for wine tasting, best served over a tapas style lunch, or why not bring a bottle back to Beau's Barn, to toast your holiday home. This is also the home to Barnaby's, owned by the team behind Prawn on the Lawn, which offers exceptional local dining right on your doorstep.
