This stylish hideaway with individual interiors is set in a peaceful location just a short walk from the heart of the trendy, yet historic, village of St Agnes. Porto Cottage is a charming property that has been carefully designed with tranquility in mind, making it the perfect abode for your Cornish getaway.

Entering via the sunny courtyard this typical Cornish cottage welcomes you into the cosy living space with warming natural tones to help you instantly relax. The sitting-room is ideal for resting tired feet after exploring the stunning coastal paths nearby and on cooler evenings light the wood-burner and maybe play a board game or two, taking time to reconnect with nature and each other.

Step through into the perfectly formed kitchen, equipped with an eclectic collection of crockery, glassware and cookware. From everyday essentials to charming vintage finds and unique serving pieces, you'll find everything needed to prepare, serve and enjoy meals in comfort and style, however with the village and its many eateries just a short wander down the road you might not even need to use the kitchen. Step down from the kitchen into the dining-area, which is connected to the sitting-room by one of the property's original sash windows. It's the perfect place to enjoy long, leisurely brunches or unwind at the end of the day in the comfortable chairs with a refreshing glass of your favourite tipple. On warmer evenings, open the large patio doors to let the fresh air flow in, or savour a freshly brewed coffee in the pretty courtyard while the village gently comes to life on a sunny summer morning.

The open-tread stairs (please take care) in the sitting-room lead to the first floor where you find the tranquil bedroom. Decorated with neutral tones, drift off into a blissful night's slumber in the king-size bed and awake the senses in the compact but perfectly formed shower-room which completes the interior accommodation.

The Mediterranean-style courtyard at Porto Cottage is real sun-trap and is fully enclosed for you and your dog, as Porto Cottage welcomes one well behaved pooch too, accessed via two steps up from the dining-area and complete with a bistro table and two chairs.

Within a 10 minute walk you'll find the amazing St Agnes Bakery, which is certainly worth a visit for your local pasty or cream tea. The village also has a greengrocer, village shop, take away pizza restaurant, butcher and deli, but if you don't fancy cooking there are plenty of unique places to dine in the village, so you'll be spoilt for choice.

Trevaunance Cove is around a 20 minute walk downhill and well worth a visit, but if you need to take a break on the way back up there are several pitstops where you can pause and wet your whistle.

If you want to explore further afield, Porto Cottage is perfectly located to discover more of this stunning part of the Cornish coastline with old engine houses dotted along the north coast or if taking the car, iconic locations such as St Ives, Falmouth and the big sandy beaches of Perranporth and Fistral aren't far away.
