Ty Rhos is an elegant Grade II Listed, Regency captain's townhouse with spellbinding sea views, nestling in the heart of Fishguard, and perfect for families or groups of friends. Explore the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path, glorious beaches and nearby picturesque seaside towns. Stroll to the nearby artisan shops, galleries, good eateries, cinema or down the hill to the scenic harbour at Lower Town. Ty Rhos has it all for a memorable Pembrokeshire holiday.

Step inside this elegant townhouse and let your coastal holiday begin. It is sympathetically and stylishly furnished, and adorned with original features. Relax in the seaward facing sitting-room, gazing out across the endless sea. Bliss on sunny days with big blue skies above, or in the winter with the fire roaring watching the swell of the stormy sea. Curl up on the window seat for some glorious down time with a good book. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen has all the holiday chef needs for some delicious cooking or, if you prefer, you're spoilt for choice with an array of good eateries within walking distance in the town. The closest is Ffwrn, a stylishly converted, open plan church which often hosts live music, serves delicious artisan pizzas and a selection of tasty fayre, or try a traditional Welsh breakfast in Cove Corner cafe. The renowned Royal Oak pub, the site where the French surrendered, offers hearty pub food.

Enjoy leisurely meals together in the dining-room, while planning the holiday excursions. There's something for everyone in the area, whether you're a sea lover, beachcomber, explorer, walker or someone who enjoys watching the world go by from the harbour cafe or on the seats next to the sea. If you're lucky you may spot dolphins in the bay. On rainy days, gather around the table for a fun board game, making the most of quality holiday time together. For perfect holiday relaxation, soak in the bath in the ground floor bathroom and enjoy up the ever-changing sea views.

From the hallway, climb the stairs to the three elegant bedrooms and family bathroom. All bedrooms have the original fireplaces, luxurious beds and linen. The captain's bedroom, with king-size bed, enjoys far reaching sea views. Relax in the window chair for some peaceful time out. Two further bedrooms are to the front of the house, one being situated next to the family bathroom.

After a day exploring, enjoy a sundowner on the patio overlooking the sea.

If you have a larger party or perhaps ideal for grandparents, Cwtch y Rhos is an apartment for two in the basement and will be available to book soon.

From the doorstep, wander down the hill to the harbour at Lower Fishguard. Enjoy a coffee and cake in the cafe, one of Luke's ice-creams or visit The Ship Inn. Children love crabbing off the harbour wall. It's the perfect spot to watch the boats, or to try paddle boarding or kayaking.

Nearby Goodwick has a sandy beach and a play park for children, who will also enjoy the Ocean Lab centre, shop and cafe. Catch the ferry for a day trip to Ireland. For an al fresco lunch in the summer months try The Shack on Goodwick seafront.

For exploring the area, visit Newport, a bustling seaside town flanked by mountains to the north and glorious beaches at Pwllgwaelod and Cwm yr Eglws. Surfers will love Newgale and Whitesands. St Davids' magnificent cathedral is worth a visit. Browse the boutique shops, galleries and eateries in the bustling smallest city in UK.

Fishguard festival of music at the end of May attracts world class musicians and takes place in several venues across north Pembrokeshire, celebrating a wonderfully varied selection of music including jazz, folk and orchestral.

For children, The Little Village children's amusement centre in Fishguard offers themed role play areas with toys and dressing up, as well as delicious coffee, cakes and children's lunch boxes. Folly Farm near Tenby is popular or jump for joy at Hangar 5 trampolining centre in Haverfordwest.

Throughout the year, come rain or shine, Ty Rhos offers the ideal holiday destination. This gorgeous period property is very appealing at Christmas.
