Swn y Mor is the perfect traditional Pembrokeshire stone cottage, nestling in the pretty coastal village of Trefin. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this idyllic cottage is set down a quiet lane at the edge of the village.

Once home to a sea captain, the characterful cottage is the end one in a row of three and has been furnished throughout with loving care and great attention to detail with lots of paintings and artwork.

The cosy sitting-room has an open fire and the bedrooms are a delight with lovely bed linen and a super-king size bed in the main bedroom. Enjoy glimpses of the sea and coast from the main bedrooms, kitchen and garden. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en suite) as well as a further shower-room, and sleeping a maximum of six, the cottage is ideal for families and groups of friends wishing to take time out on the spectacular St Davids' peninsula. A real delight is the separate garden-room with chairs and coffee table overlooking the pretty cottage garden and patio - a lovely place to relax in, get away from it all and simply while away the time!

For guests' use is a very handy 'hut' with boot rack, ideal for walking gear, beach games and boogie boards - please note this space is for use at your own risk.

The idyllic rear grounds offer a private sheltered cottage garden with a spacious patio with lovely seating and a round picnic bench, from here steps lead to the lawn and garden-room.

Within a short walk from the cottage is access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, and Aberfelin, a small shingle and sandy cove with rock pools, overlooked by the ruins of the historic Melin, Trefin Mill. Very nearby are Abercastle, once a busy little port, and the small fishing harbour of Porthgain. Do try the fish and chips in The Shed Bistro and the famous Sloop Inn.

In Square and Compass, near Trefin, is a filling station with a well stocked shop. The local pub is the Ship Inn in Trefin, where a warm and friendly welcome awaits along with some mouth watering dishes and there is also the popular Mill Cafe next door.

Pack a picnic and spend the day on one of the glorious local beaches or meander through one of the pretty coastal villages. Solva, St Davids with its majestic Cathedral, the woollen mill and cafe at Melin Tregwynt, or the pretty historic town of Newport are all well worth a visit.
