Liz grew up in the north of England and after a spell in Bermuda and The Lake District now lives on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall. A self-confessed outdoor enthusiast, Liz spends her time walking her labrador retriever Nigel along the stunning coast path, mountain biking and working as a volunteer coastguard on the Mullion search and rescue team. After a career in hotel management, Liz is now part of the Classic Cottages marketing team and loves to explore both Cornwall and any beautiful far-flung corner of the British Isles, including the Outer Hebrides where she is heading later this year as part of a research expedition for the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust.
