Wellbeing holidays for New Year breaks

Feeling burnt out after a busy year? Or is your New Year’s resolution to practice more self care? Treat yourself to a relaxing break in a holiday cottage that offers a special extra or two

It’s reached that time of year where we’re thinking about how we’re going to smash next year's goals and plans. Whether your plan is to lose weight, travel more or simply remember to look after yourself better, each of these unique retreats offers a special extra for your holiday.

Spend a week practicing Pilates and hitting the gym or hiding from the world with a good book, a bubbling hot tub and a glass of fizz. Each of these beautiful cottages welcomes you with open arms to relax and unwind with more being and less doing.

Carter’s Croft

Carters Croft has super relaxing interiors and the owner can teach you Pilated on site too.

A cosy fireside, beautiful bedrooms and spectacular interiors make this calming retreat top of our list for relaxation. Add into the equation that the wonderful owner can also teach Pilates in her on-site studio and we can’t wait for our next weekend away. Tucked alongside The Old Granary and Smugglers Lane, this home-from-home makes perfect use of the original features of the building alongside some beautiful mid-century furniture.
