Bubbleton Farm, nr Tenby
If you're looking to spend an afternoon at your farm shop of choice, look no further than Bubbleton Farm Shop, just 2 miles out of Tenby. This fifth-generation farm is passionate about not only selling local produce, but growing it too.
Pop into the farm shop and stock up on their own seasonal vegetables and eggs, and peruse the shelves of goodies from other Pembrokeshire farms. While they aren't yet certified organic, they embrace organic methods where possible.
The farm was also the first to grow hops commercially in Wales back in 1874, a tradition that continues to this day. They've since partnered with four microbreweries to produce some of the best Welsh beer on offer. Visit the hop garden and sample the beer grown and brewed in Tenby. Or for an even deeper dive into the heritage and future of local beer, combine your visit with a brewery tour of Harbwr Brewery in Tenby or the brewery shop at Tenby Brewing Co.
Fancy staying a while longer? Pop into Bubbleton Farmshop Café, a dog and child-friendly café, serving up delicious homecooked dishes. Afterwards, head to the coast path just 500m from the farm and walk into Tenby.
Dai's Dairy, Llanteg
Whether you're having a family summer holiday in Pembrokeshire or simply love milkshakes, you'll want to take a trip to Dai's Dairy. It's the place to head for farm-fresh milkshakes. And one of the coolest parts? You can get one 24/7 thanks to the onsite vending machine! Flavours change, but you could sip on strawberry, biscoff or our pick: nutella, white chocolate and raspberry.
As well as their epic milkshakes, you can stock up on a fantastic selection of local Welsh cheese, meat from Hazelwell Farm and plenty of other goodies, including home-baked cakes, smoked salmon, and artisan chocolate. Refuelled and keen for an adventure? It's just 5 miles to Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, home to 750 animals across 120 acres.
Gate 2 Plate, Lower Freystrop
If you're looking to stock up on local meat for your next Pembrokeshire self-catering holiday, head to Gate 2 Plate. It opened its doors in 2007 and is just 2 miles down the road from the family-run farm, which produces its high-quality beef, rare-breed pork, potatoes, and seasonal vegetables.
As well as their own produce, they stock a range of goodies from local businesses and producers, including Pembrokeshire lamb, Welsh cheese, free-range eggs, local honey, ice cream, milk and butter, preserves, bread, and cake. Be sure to pick up a slice of Bara Brith if it's available on your next visit; this traditional Welsh tea bread is flavoured with tea, dried fruits, and spices, and tastes - and smells - incredible. Or keep an eye out for Welsh cakes, one of the best regional foods of all time!
Visit the shop and swing by the open plan butchers, where you can watch the butchers hard at work creating cuts and joints. Got a question? Ask away! And if you’re visiting at Easter or Christmas, there's often local turkey, free-range chicken, and British duck and geese available. There's also an open plan kitchen so you can see everything from pies and pastries to faggots being made.

Four Seasons Farm Shop & Florist, Saundersfoot
Nestled between Tenby and Saundersfoot, you'll find Four Seasons, an award-winning farm shop and floristry in an immaculate, purpose-built, wood-clad building. Step inside the smart shop and you'll find a haven of high-quality local produce and artisan goods, not to mention beautiful floral arrangements, if you can't resist a bouquet.
The farm shop itself has been designed with the big shop in mind. Here you can do a full grocery shop, all while supporting the local farming community and, quite literally, enjoying the fruits of its labour. And speaking of local, owner Hugh supplies the shop with seasonal vegetables straight from his 3-acre nursery. Try his famous Pembrokeshire new potatoes and rare Black Russian tomatoes, you’re in for a treat!
Make sure you swing by and explore the bakery range with breads and sweet treats baked by local bakers, the cheese aisle with a wide selection of Welsh and handcrafted cheeses, the Delicatessen for ready-to-eat goodies perfect for a picnic, and the greengrocery for all your produce needs. There's also a curated collection of Welsh wines, spirits, and craft beers, along with a gift area for picking up locally crafted souvenirs.
C&M Organics, nr Hebron
Dating back 40 years, this farm shop knows a thing or two about produce! From humble beginnings, C&M Organics is now a fully stocked fruit and vegetable shop boasting whole foods, dairy, frozen meats, bread and even vegan alternatives.
Known as The Veg Shed locally, it's transformed from the small side-of-the-road honesty stand it started off as. As well as selling their vegetables, they also grow crops for The Welsh Veg in Schools scheme, which works to get more organic produce into Welsh schools to give children a more nutritious midday boost.
Perched on the edge of the beautiful Preseli Hills, this fabulous farm shop is the perfect place to stock up on local goodies before heading into the mountains for a rather spectacular hike.
The Paddock Farm Shop, Mathry
Born out of a preserve counter at the family pub, today The Paddock is now a fully fledged farm shop in a custom-built premise. It all started with local foodie Anne-Marie Harries, who decided to sell her homemade jam, chutney, and other preserves at her family pub. The result? They all sold out, and Anne-Marie was back in the kitchen turning her hobby into a business.
Today, she makes over 25 different varieties of jams, marmalades, and chutneys. It's no surprise to hear she's even won awards for them! Whatever you do, be sure to pick up a pot of cheeky chilli jam, plus the rhubarb and ginger jam is a delight on toast.
Head to The Paddock and not only can you pick up Anne-Marie's award-winning preserves, but you can shop a whole range of local fresh produce, including local vegetables and fruit, farm fresh eggs, and fresh baked bread.
Heading out for a picnic afterwards? Upgrade yours and pick up one of their 'ready to go' afternoon teas. Just delightful! It's just over 6 miles to Fishguard, a pretty little town known for its love of festivals and farmers' markets, and a stone's throw to the charming villages of Trefin and Porthgain. Or head on to Cwm yr Eglwys, a spectacular, sheltered cove perfect for sailing or windsurfing.
Greenacre Market Garden, Llanteg
Small and sweet, Greenacre Market Garden harvests and sells produce in their delightfully rustic farm shop. Inside, you'll find organic beef and pork reared less than a mile away, fresh-baked sourdough loaves, and a plethora of locally grown fruit and vegetables.
During the summer months, The Little Green Café opens its doors, so you can swing by for homemade hot food and excellent coffee, which you can enjoy in the gorgeous gardens or get to take away.
As well as all the typical trappings of a farmshop, they sell some excellent cakes and our particular favourite spin on a classic: cheesecake jars! A decadently layered cheesecake inside a pretty glass jar, what could be better? With a commercial daffodil selling business, it's also the perfect spot to stock up on a bunch or two of these springtime beauties.
Afterwards, head to the coast, Ragwen Point offers a fantastic walk with gorgeous views over Carmarthen Bay and fascinating insight into local history. For something a touch less wild, head to Pembroke, just over 13 miles away. The charming walled town dates back 900 years and even boasts a Norman Castle. Fans of Me Before You might even recognise the castle and town from the film!
Pen Pant Farm, nr St Davids
Looking for a place to stock up on the finest of Pembrokeshire vegetables? Head to Pen Pant Farm near Solva, where the only meat you'll find is the odd slug in the garden!
The focus here is on farm-fresh, seasonal produce. Visit in spring and you might load up on rhubarb, cape broccoli, and new potatoes. Summer will see a surge of broad beans, beetroots, mange tout, stick beans and Romanesco. If you like cauliflower, you're in luck, as they are harvested here 365 days a year! Likewise, spinach is available much of the year. And if you're planning an autumnal break to Pembrokeshire, be sure to head to Pen Pant Farm for a pumpkin or two.
Afterwards, it's just 2 miles into the smallest city in Britain, St Davids, named after the patron saint of Wales. It has been a place of pilgrimage for centuries with plenty to do, from exploring the impressive St. Davids Cathedral and the ruins of St. Davids Bishop's Palace, to wandering its quaint streets lined with cute cafés, galleries, and independent boutiques. Plus, the surrounding Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a fabulous stretch to explore, and easily one of the most romantic places in the UK.
Pant Mawr Farmhouse Cheeses, Rosebush
If you’re crazy about cheese, you need to swing by this farm shop in Rosebush, which is all about the good stuff. Established in 1983, the Jennings family had returned to Wales from the Middle East, where they had helped to set up some of the first commercial dairies in Libya and North Yemen. Today, Pant Mawr Farmhouse Cheeses is run by David, Cynthia, and Jason Jennings at their traditional farm lying in the foothills of the Preseli Mountains at Rosebush in Pembrokeshire.
Using locally produced milk and self-taught skills, the Jennings family have developed a delectable range of traditional handmade cheese. Pop in and try a sample for yourself. The hardest bit? Picking which ones to buy - they're all so tempting! They have traditional cow milk cheese, as well as a goat milk range. If you're on holiday for a celebration, you could even order a celebration cheesecake! Or alternatively, pick up a ready-made cheeseboard or hamper.
