Our family ethos
Tony and Clare Tregoning started the business back in 1977 and their dedication to quality and excellence is at the heart of everything we do. Tony is sadly no longer with us, but we still adhere to their original ethos of finding holiday homes we would like to stay in and have slowly grown the company to find the best picks of properties across the counties. Plus Clare still drops in to keep us on our toes.
As an independent, family-run company, we wouldn’t expect you to stay anywhere we wouldn’t want to stay ourselves. And we’re pretty picky. We want you to walk into your handpicked holiday home and say ‘wow’, sit back and relax.
The coast path around west Cornwall stretches from Praa Sands to St Ives. Along the south coast, it takes you past St Michael’s Mount, Penzance, Mousehole, Lamorna Cove and the Minack Theatre as well as the picturesque Porthcurno beach on the way to Land’s End.
On the North coast section, you pass wide open beach at Sennen, Cape Cornwall and the old tin mines hugging the cliff edges around Botallack, you pass through some of the oldest farmland in England before you reach the ever popular St Ives and Carbis Bay. There is even more to discover inland too, with stone circles, iron age villages and ancient burial grounds Where better is there to explore while taking the dog for a walk?
And there are plenty of places to stop for a drink and some food that accept pets across west Cornwall, but not all about your dog! All of our pet-friendly cottages offer you the chance to relax and unwind in a home from home, whether you’re looking for stunning sea views, a hot tub or just a fire place to enjoy we have it covered.
