Lyndhurst Cottages

Historically, Lyndhurst has been where Royalty go, with this area of the New Forest being a favourite hunting ground of William the Conqueror (hence he crowned it the capital!). The central museum of the New Forest is located here so is a great base for exploring from and finding out more about the area. The walks are second to none and you might even trip over a rabbit hole (gently!) and find the final resting place of Alice in Wonderland (well, Lewis Carroll’s muse).
