SingleAn unforgettable Pembrokeshire holiday awaits in this exceptional retreat, nestling in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, within a mile of the pretty sheltered cove at Cwm yr Eglwys. Thoughtfully restored to an impeccable standard, the cottage offers a sense of seclusion, whilst remaining close to everything the area offers. Combining traditional Pembrokeshire character with contemporary comfort, including an outdoor sauna, both the bathroom and shower-room being on the ground floor, the layout creates a welcoming and stylish space for families, couples or friends seeking a coastal escape.
Step inside and let your longed-for Pembrokeshire break begin. Gather in the delightful open plan living-room, adorned with relaxing hues and cosy wood-burner, perfect for chillier nights unwinding in its glow, after a day exploring the beauty of the surrounding area. Restored with love, you'll admire the attention to detail everywhere you look. The chef will be in their element in the well-equipped kitchen, or you're spoiled for choice with an array of good eateries in the area, including the Sailors' Safety pub at Pwllgwaelod beach, the Ship Aground pub, just a few minutes walk up the road, or a few miles away in Newport, Llys Meddygg, Blas at Fronlas or the Golden Lion or in Fishguard, Ffwrn, a hearty Welsh breakfast in The Cove, or lunch at The Shack, opposite Goodwick beach. As evening falls the cottage becomes a warm and welcoming retreat. Take leisurely meals together where conversations last into the night, accompanied by good food, laughter and the fun of being together in a special place.
The unfettered peaceful bedrooms promise a good night's sleep. Awake to birdsong in the morning and a blissful sauna, before a sunny breakfast on the patio. Or end the day here after a fun beach day, under a blanket of stars in the dark sky, on a still summer's night. The outdoor shower is ideal for sandy toes before relaxing inside.
Also available to book is neighbouring Nol (6182), which sleeps four and Blaen (6183) also sleeping four.
The area offers a choice of spectacular beaches, including Pwllgwaelod, The Parrog in Newport, Goodwick beach, near Fishguard and many more along the Cardiganshire coast. Why not take a boat trip from New Quay to spot dolphins, explore the Preseli Mountains, discover the historical, coastal town of Fishguard, visit St Davids' cathedral or take a day trip to south Pembrokeshire to the popular seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot. Children love Folly Farm, Hangar 5 trampolining in Haverfordwest, Dr Beynon's Bug Farm near St Davids or visiting the puffins on Skomer Island, between April and late July.
Regardless of the season, this gorgeous coastal cottage provides the perfect balance of comfort, style and location.
