From the moment you step inside this idyllic retreat, you realise you have chosen a special holiday destination. Adorned with quality furniture and furnishings, including traditional Welsh woollen throws and cushions, this deceptively spacious cottage offers the perfect Pembrokeshire escape, combining a blend of contemporary comfort with traditional Welsh character.
The cosy cwtch (snug) is an enchanting room, filled with warmth, soul and heart, inviting you in to relax and unwind. Gather around the warming glow of the wood-burner and forget the everyday. The spacious sitting/dining-room is accessed via the cwtch. Relax together on the sofas watching a good movie after a beach day or chat long into the night, as time doesn’t matter in Nol. Throw open the bi-fold doors and let the cooling sea breeze fill the room.
The chef will enjoy serving a feast to the dining-room table, or dine al fresco on a still summer’s night. The stars shine brightly in the dark skies above. Climb the wooden hill to two peaceful bedrooms on the first floor for a good night’s sleep maybe after a luxurious bath in the elegant, modern bathroom which is located on the ground floor. A useful shower-room is also located on the ground floor. For perfect holiday relaxation take a sauna and unwind in the bubbly hot tub.
Also available to book are neighbouring Blaen (6183), which sleeps four, and Canol (6184), which sleeps five.
There’s lots to do in this area, including a choice of glorious beaches, exploring the coastal path, pretty seaside towns and villages, Newport, Fishguard, Cardigan, St Davids or to the south, Tenby and Saundersfoot.
Take a boat trip to spot dolphins from New Quay, or visit Skomer Island, between April and late July to see the puffins, visit local castles, family days out at Castell Henllys, the Shire Horse Farm at Eglwyswrw, the cinema in Fishguard or walking in the Preseli Mountains.
A well-stocked shop is located at the local garage or for a supermarket, CKs in Fishguard, which has a bakery and butcher’s section. Local good eateries include Sailors' Safety at Pwllgwaelod Beach, Ffwrn in Fishguard, for lunch, The Shack opposite Goodwick Beach, Llys Meddyg and Blas at Fronlas in Newport.
